On April 12, the second work gathering, «Workshop on Strategic Variables,» was held within the framework of the Cayetano 2050 Plan. This workshop aimed to identify and prioritize the variables that will jointly catalyze the transformation of our university in the future.

The workshop was attended by government authorities, directors, heads, students, faculty, and members of the Board of Trustees. The workshop was conducted by Fredy Vargas, director of the Center for Strategic Planning and Prospective of the Universidad Externado de Colombia, and Luz Martha Melo, consultant of the Center mentioned above.

The workshop, conducted in two stages, yielded significant outcomes. In the first stage, a competitive contextual analysis was presented, highlighting our university’s challenges and key areas of focus. This paved the way for the second stage, where teamwork led to the identification of the most crucial strategic variables.

This is the second of seven workshops scheduled for the year.
