ICPvR 2027 Announces Abstract Submission, Registration, Travel Awards and Sponsorship Opportunities

The 10th International Conference on Plasmodium vivax Research (ICPvR 2027), the world’s leading scientific meeting dedicated exclusively to Plasmodium vivax, has officially opened its call for abstracts and travel awards. Researchers, students, clinicians, public health professionals and institutional representatives from around the world are now invited to submit their scientific contributions and register for the conference.
Hosted by the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia under the theme “Uniting Science Against Plasmodium vivax,” ICPvR 2027 will take place from May 19–21, 2027, at the InterContinental Real Lima Miraflores, bringing together the global community working to advance research, control and elimination strategies for P. vivax malaria.
Researchers may now submit abstracts for consideration as short talks or poster presentations, according to the conference scientific program. Detailed submission guidelines, thematic categories, eligibility requirements and evaluation criteria are available through the conference website. The deadline for abstract submission is December 15, 2026.
To promote broad international participation, ICPvR 2027 is also offering Travel Awards. Applicants may apply through the abstract submission system and must comply with the eligibility criteria and supporting documentation requirements outlined on the conference website. Travel Award applications are now open and will be reviewed alongside submitted abstracts, with final decisions expected in February 2027.
Conference registration is now available for all attendees. Participants are encouraged to register early and take advantage of reduced registration rates before the Early-Bird Registration Deadline on February 19, 2027.
